This was my 2nd major expedition and it was in every sense of the word, one of the purest Adventures of all time. It was also my longest trip in terms of time to date, 87 days! Covering over 2900km!

Two young people wanting to see the Churchill River in Labrador before the infamous Muskrat Falls Project started. We used what we had, my father's rowboat, our shitty old mountain bikes and a lot of help from friends, family and strangers along the way!

It came together in 4 parts:

  1. Rowboat - 930km from Georgian Bay - Quebec City

  2. Bicycle - 1225km from Quebec City - Churchill Falls

  3. Canoe - 330km from Churchill - GooseBay
Bicycle - 400km from Goose Bay - Port Hope Simpson

  4. Hitch Hiking - to Deer Lake

Total cost for 2 people including flights home =
Less than $4000!!!!! Time or money as the old saying goes. We were young and had all the time in the world.
